Four wines for Thanksgiving
Champagne Grand Cru ReserveGenerous Nose, soft and silky palate. The mouth is extremely soft, silky, signature of the beautiful maturity of the Cuvée, obtained by 3 years of ageing. First marked by the majority of the Pinot Noir (70%), with heady flavours of nice ripe red and black fruits, the chardonnay (30%) then unveils its elegance with reserved touches and then more clearly, with citrus fruits, almond, halzenut, apple and pear.
2015 Meursault 1er cru, Les Boucheres, Burgundy
His aromatic power and exceptional balance make him one of the great lords of Burgundy. Without dominating them, he will marry very well with a piece of veal or poultry in white sauce, without forgetting crustaceans and lobster. You will be conquered by this Chardonnay.
2009 Chateau Chasse -Spleen, Moulis en Medoc, Bordeaux
Dark red, unclouded and bright. Powerful and straightforward attack. Nose of chocolate powder, blackcurrant, stones. Slightly toasted oaky notes. Full structure with a round and tight grain. Black cherry and blueberry aromas. A very long final for this left bank signature. (Bordeauix Blend)
2014 Le Tertre du Bosquet, Sauternes ( 375 ml)
This barrel-aged Sauternes features a beautiful, brilliant, golden-yellow colour and an attractively fresh bouquet with delightful hints of vanilla, peach, citrus fruit, and honey. Smooth and powerful on the palate, this delicious Sauternes has mandarin orange and quince flavours.
